When to tell your child about CMT

Hi all, I need some help. My daughter is 8 and we have not told her about CMT.

I don't know 100% that she has it but 99.9%, I think she has it. She has all

the classic signs. Tripping, leg pain, foot pain, can't keep up with her

friends running etc... we all know the rest. My question is when do I tell her

and take her to the doctor. I have been holding off as we are concerned about

getting life insurance in the future. Also I never wanted her to think she was

different then other kids. She has been having some issue with her friends and

it is tearing me apart because I want to tell her soooooooooooooooo bad. I think

we probably will, but I would like to hear people experiences before I do. I

would also like to know how the children have reacted to the news and did you

think it was a good idea after the fact.

I can say this is one of the hardest decisions, I have had to make for my

children so far. Any input is appreciated.

Thanks
