Guest guest
Welcoming you to our community, Anitanr, I hope you'll find the information, sharing and resources helpful in your understanding of CMT. Two trials on the use of Vitamin C for CMT 1A have closed and we are awaiting the results coming this December. Also some types of CMT can be totally arrested through Pre-Implantation Genetic diagnosis (more on this in our Files) At your leisure, browse our Files, Links and Archived messages and you will discover how we best manage our CMT and related issues. I know a new diagnosis of CMT can be overwhelming, but the many of us who live with it have an excellent quality of life. Your son will too. Thanks so much for introducing yourself. Guest guest
Welcome Anitanr! You will find many parents of children with CMT here. How old is your son? Don't be frightened about it progressing for we have all learned that this disease is different for each and every person who has it. There are many things that can be done to improve the quality of life, but I agree with you - prayer is one of the most powerful things we can all do!
