Guest guest
Peripheral nerves take up 2% of the total body, but require 20% of the body's energy needs. Keeping the peripheral nerves well nourished means supplying them with a good source of well oxygenated blood. Anything that constricts the blood supply to the nerve or gives less oxygen to the blood affects the nerve health. The top three culprits, in order, are: o 1.)Smoking o 2.)Caffeine o 3.)Cold
Guest guest
Question, what is the source of this? I don't smoke or consume a lot of caffeine, but live in the north and often work out in the cold so my concern. Thanks!
