I have a close friend with ALS, which can differ in the rapidity of symptoms, but eventually anyone suffering from it, gets them all. It's kind of like a crap shoot with CMT. I started off thinking my only problem was my legs/feet; now,among other things, I realize my swallowing is affected, and I'm hoping my breathing won't be.
