Timed out for dissability

I have a question,maybe someone can help.My mother who has had CMT

since childhood,has been " disqualified " for dissability.She worked up

untill about 10 years ago,when she simply couldn't any longer.She

faught against asking for help all these years(You know,Pride),and

now,with no medical insurance and a rapidly advancing CMT,there's no

help for her.She applied about 15 years ago,and none of these

undereducated doctors around here would say she was disabled.Now,even

though she is technically disabled, according to her still

undereducated doctors,she isn't eligable for Dissablity because she

timed out.They said she waited too long to reapply.Is there any other

help out there?Thanks,Angie
