Guest guest
Ray: Very important message about comparisons of pain. I tend to think, however, that those of us with chronic pain are so much more sensitive to others that we are almost " genetically " programmed to worry about others more than ourselves. You are absolutely correct when you say that each person's pain is the most important problem to them in how it makes us feel and limits our activities. Thanks for your message. I will always try to be honest with how I am doing with my pain - and other things. Glad to hear you had such a good day. Your family is very lucky to have you in their lives, as are we. {{{and pain-free wishes}}} Carol " In the little decisions of life, use your mind; in the big decisions of life, use your heart. I quite agree with this observation, and would add that we generally become programmed to deceive ourselves and others about the extent of our pain and related difficulties. I rarely let people hear or see what level of pain or difficulty I have. However, several coworkers know - somehow - when I am having problems and are very empathetic. {{{and pain-free wishes}}} Carol " In the little decisions of life, use your mind; in the big decisions of life, use your heart.
