Can CMT affect the digestive tract?

Hi All,

After recent problems, my gastroenterologist has diagnosed my digestive

system as " slow " . The symptoms include food staying in my stomach which

decreases appetite, heartburn, long periods between bm's (sorry), and

feeling uncomfortable. I have begun to lose weight because I eat only

one meal a day and I am having to take other measures to get nutrition.

The doctor says that CMT can cause a slowing of the digestive process.

After a little on line research, I have discovered that this is true,

but very rare.

Have any of you experienced this? Do you know anyone who has?

Thanks for any comments/suggestions.
