Ken,

I am impressed with you knowledge...I think, then, the reason I did

get SSD was because God moved on my behalf and because I went to the meeting

prepared. You seem to speak from both education and experience. I speak only

form personal experience.

In my case I came to the SSD, doctor who was assigned to examine me,

with complete documentation. He stated that in his 20 years working for SSD,

he had never seen such complete documentation. I had papers from 2 doctors, 2

rehab programs, that I was enrolled in, Social Workers, and psychiatrists.

From that experience I decided that the best way to get SSD was to be

prepared and to bring the paper work. By doing that I eliminated lost files

and was approved on my first try.

Mad.

Hi Mad,

I see that you did some careful homework to help G-d. I also did,

but it didn't work the first time.

Thanks for the compliment. (we like compliments). But on the other

hand if I had spent 30+ years in education & training & work, and didn't

know what it was about, that wouldn't be too goo, would it?

And now my contribution to religious humor for the day:

A poor man, really a poor soul, prays to G-d; asking him if he

could become a rich man. While praying the man gets an idea: he asks G-d if

maybe he could win the lottery. G-d speaks to the man, telling him he would

win the lottery.

Time goes by and nothing happens. More time goes by and the man

becomes more disillusioned and angry.

He again prays to G-d, this time asking if his prayers would be

angry. More time passes with nothing happening. Once again the man prays to

G-d: " I don't understand. You promised that I would win the lottery. But

nothing happens " .

At that moment, a booming voice from above is heard: " Well, you

have to buy a ticket first! "
