Here's a study of studies that show a link between positive thoughts and

cure rates.

Note the veggie slant at the beginning.

They also need put more emphasis on the attitude of the doctors. A person is

more apt to get well if the doctor believes, or appears to believe, that

they can.

The article has the right idea, but ends on a negative slant.

The problem with this is the obvious causal relationship running in the

other way. People who are in better health tend to have more positive

attitudes. I don't see how one could conduct a controlled experiment to

test causality in the other direction.

Well, yeah. The doctor ought to know.
