Guest guest
Hi Amy, You might consider checking into Emotional Freedom Technique. I have a friend who has tried it with very positive results. Dr. Mercola recommends it highly and uses it a lot in his practice to help peope with emotional issues involving food. There is a web site which would tell you where the closest practioner is located. It can also be learned and used by anyone on their own. My friend found having some help in the early stages of using EFT was more beneficial to her. I'm sure there are nutritional issues at work here too. Others may be able to help with those. All my best, Sheila > I am a 34-year-old female. I went through pregnancy and birth two > years ago. I have noticed that my hairline on above my forehead is > thinning out quite a bit. Guest guest
Amy, I suffered from this off and on for over a year. After getting your thyroid levels checked, you might try increasing your protein intake. Also, look into a progresterone cream and finally, change shampoos. I went from an expensive all natural brand to a cheap store brand and my hair stopped falling out. I tried the old shampoo for a few days and was surprised at the amount of hair I lost. Maybe an allergy to an ingredient. I have since given up the progesterone cream and my dh and grocery bills will attest the the high amounts of protein I ingest. Lauri > I am a 34-year-old female. Guest guest
I would probably try *virgin* coconut oil - 3 TBS a day - for your thyroid. Many people experience raised body temperature and a better thyroid panel with coconut oil. Ami --- In , " a_roff " <a_roff@y...> wrote: > I am a 34-year-old female. My mom's hair started thinning probably Same thing with my first pregnancy, and it continued worse after my second, until I found I was sensitive to wheat and cut it from my diet. Went back to normal levels of hair loss. I was wheat-free for several years to allow my gallbladder to heal up, but now I will allow small amounts on occasion. I can always tell when I'm overdoing it, because my hair starts falling out again! ~ Carma ~ " God has given you all you need to train and educate your children at home - it's in real books and real life.
