Why on earth do you suspect that? Here on this very list people who take lots of n3 supplementation have said they tend to bleed rather freely (I'm thinking specifically of Ron Schmid, but IIRC others made the same claim). Though they considered that advantageous (because it did a better job of cleaning cuts) and I thought it indicated an overdose and an undesirable symptom, either way, the shift in balance and quantity had a substantial physical effect. There's no reason to doubt a priori that having an excess of the root stock for one kind of metabolic pathway relative to the root stock for the counterbalancing pathway isn't going to have an effect, and though the fact that many modern degenerative diseases seem to have inflammation as a common element and that n6 fatty acids are required for the inflammation process is hardly proof, it's certainly suggestive. - Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
