i'm wondering as well and can i also ask: does it matter if it comes from

seaweed or not? i sometimes see that in parantheses when something contains it.

Is carageenan a " healthy " additive? i have the

opportunity to get some organic coconut milk fairly

cheaply but it has carageenan in it. The milk I

currently get has emsulsifier, but is not organic.

carageenan is a natural product but the way it's processed to be used in

commercial food products, toothpastes etc. seems to make it undesirable...
