My husband, bless him, is trying to quit smoking again. He was smoke

free for two years when our six year old was born but slid back into it

and has been trying to dig himself out ever since. This time he really

seems to be doing well and he credits the changes in our eating with a

lot of that. However I'm wondering what else we can do.

He's on the patch, which really seems to help (it's how he quit

successfully last time), and he's getting lots of exercise and saunas,

which also help. He says he feels better than he ever has. Usually when

he quits he gets sick and we think it's because his membranes dry out

when he stops smoking--no protection from wandering viruses (virii?)

If you have ideas, I'd love to hear them.

Lynn
