Guest guest
, I have calcium deposits all over my body. The largest areas are the pelvic girdle and the inside curve around the armpits. They have never been painful. They are the result of taking lots of calcium but not a lot of it being absorbed. I have yet to figure out how to get rid of them and the doctors have not talked to me about my MRI results as of yet. If I find a solution I'll be sure and post it. Guest guest
Hi Shirley! Geoff here. You wrote: --- I am new to this group and would like to ask a question. I have had Scleroderma for over twenty years ( Crest ) and I am having a severe problem with Calcium Deposits that keep getting infected and I have to have them removed. Has anyone ever found anything at all that helps with these deposits in any way whatsoever....either Prescription or a natural supplement? --- This is going to sound too simplistic, I know... Soda pop. Soda pop, or more properly the fizz, binds and removes calcium from the body. For most people this is seriously bad news, and it depletes Magnesium as well. But in your case, it may prove to be beneficial. If you decide to try this seemingly odd approach, drink a couple quarts a day but take a magnesium supplement 2 hours afterward. Excess consumption (which this is, but intentionally so) will deplete magnesium and result in easy bruising and bruises slow to clear. Supplementing Magnesium will not stop the soda from depleting calcium (in this case excess calcium) but will balance the magnesium store to prevent the bruising issues. Another point, if you ingest ANY dairy products or take ANY calcium supplement - stop. If you have bone density issues, try instead cold processed MCHA -- microcrystalline hydroxyappetite (cold milled, micro-fine bone.) MCHA is available via many of the doctors spoke of on this list through the Metagenics brand, and under the label Bone Builder from Ethical Nutrients at http://www.healingyou.org/ and other places. Guest guest
How do you get rid of calcium deposits. I've got a huge one on one of my ribs that drives me nuts. I'd love to get rid of that thing. Betsy
