But if you just want coverage for traumatic injury, you can always get catastrophic or " accident " insurance, which can be gotten much cheaper. i just got that myself. i didn't see any point in paying an arm and a leg for regular insurance when i wouldn't choose to treat a chronic or degenerative disease with conventional medicine anyway. as for your husband, if he's on drugs, then that wouldn't work for him, but it could for you if you choose an alternative route to healing. Guest guest
btw the recent medicare bill made some changes to medical savings accounts that make them much more attractive for a healthy person that just wants catastrophic coverage. i may do it myself and get out of this crazy health insurance system. -joe > > >sheila, if you use drugs or choose conventional medicine to treat chronic or > >degenerative disease, this won't work. Guest guest
Hi Suze, Accident insurance is a very good idea. I am deep into alternative care, but my husband is not. He goes about half way which is better than not at all. Someday herbs, TCM and healthy foods will be the way most people will maintain and regain their health. Maybe in a thousand years or so.:-) Imagine a health insurance company that helps us pay for top notch grass fed meats, organic produce and massages. Heavenly! Thanks to you and everyone else who replied. You all are so helpful. Sheila > >>My husband and I may soon be pushed out of the health insurance > >>company we have been using since he retired.
