Guest guest
I've got a less expensive way to do it. Eat mostly meat and fat and little bit of a lot of other things. Nothing commercially processed. People look at my hubby and say, " He sure doesn't look THAT old! " (he's 68) WOW! Women won't have to shave that mustache any more. They can just let it grow. Judith Alta -----Original Message----- From: Helen East [mailto:helen@...] I heard on radio 4 today that Nestle have teamed up with L'Oreal to make a range of " nutritional " supplements to directly affect " beauty " . These are called cosmeceuticals. This fills in that big niche in the market that I know you've all been concerned over, somewhere between your Anti-Wrinkle Cream with Active MicroHippoZomes and your and your MultiVitamin with Added Fibre. Beauty foods and drinks are currently doing well in Japan and set to hit Europe soon. Some are specific, eg to strengthen your nails, and some confer " multiple benefits " , eg skin, hair and nails. Ingredients include collagen, ceramide and elastin. I can't wait. Not only will a pill make me healthy, but beautiful too. yours in anticipation, Helen ps I noticed Guerlain have developed " Happylogy " to release endorphins within the skin. Also, in-cosmetics.com says " Latest research indicates that cosmetic companies are looking at how to introduce steroids and hormones into lip balms which used over time could help to improve body mass, nail and hair growth. My facial skin is dry, particularly my forehead (which is also greasey), my hands chap easily so they always have small cuts on them, my lips are permanently chapped, dry and peeling. My shins flake, as do my forearms. So, what am I doing wrong? I eat a pretty high fat diet, lots of stocks, fermented veg, kombucha. Guest guest
Luck of the draw, perhaps? People come in so many shapes, sizes and colors it's hard to tell what causes a lot of things. I've always had rather oily skin and scalp and dry hair. Figure that one out. Do you eat many eggs? My thighs were lumpy and ugly for years. Then our son came home for a year while he got his act together and we pigged out on eggs for the better part of a year. That was three years ago. About a year ago I was standing in front of the mirror after my shower and I noticed that my legs looked different. There were no lumps. I can run my hand down my thighs with lots of pressure and there's not a lump to be felt. The only thing I can figure is that the eggs made the difference. Also, before the egg binge my face was beginning to show quite a few wrinkles. Most are gone now. But many of the people I know who are younger than I look like prunes. Especially the ones who eat the " healthy " diet and rant at me for eating so much killer fat and cholesterol. Guest guest
Hi Jo, How long have you been eating this healthy way? It can take a few years to see as many improvements as you are hoping to see. At least this has been true for me. I have had rosacea breakouts for over 4 years and have only recently seen a marked improvement. It was hard for me to be patient. Hang in there! Liver flushing radically changed my skin from dry to soft and smooth. Maybe you're not digesting fats. Do your stools float? Mine always did until after a few liver flushes. Now they sink indicating that my body knows how to use fats now. Since my teens I have had to use lip balm, now I never even think about it. - Filippa
Guest guest
What if some days sink and some days float? also what if it floats but is pointing down where most is sunk? And does the orientation matter? If mine always point north, does that mean I'm getting too much iron?

At the moment though I am mainly eating just the yolks, as I am eating them raw. As for lumpy thighs, well my cellulite started clearing up 4 years when I went low carb, got even better when I came off the pill, (although at least I could h ide my thighs, I can't hide my facial acne), and now I don't think I have any at all since eating NT or dairy-free for the last year or so. Do you have any further information? I have some quite considerable hormonal problems, but no-one can tell me exactly what they are! I have endometriosis, but my oestrogen levels, testosterone levels etc have all been tested normal. However, I just KNOW there is something not right. I'm not good at coping with hunger, which I imagine is what I'll have to do on the liver flush as it's low fat. Guest guest
My alternative doctor told my I would have to see an oily slick on the water before he would believe I had a problem with digesting fats (gall bladder problem to be exact) I use psyllium which can sometimes make stools float. Get a stool analysis to check your digestion of foods. IMO stool analysis is often overlooked and can be a big help in diagnosing digestive difficulties more precisely.
