Guest guest
so, regarding the slow drill vs. the high speed drill, a friend is going to a dentist tomorrow who says this: " We provide air abrasion as a way to perform microdentistry. Microdentistry is the philosophy and practice of finding and treating decay as early as possible. Microdentistry means removing as little tooth structure as possible, making the smallest possible restoration (filling) and assuring those restorations are long lasting and look natural. Air abrasion is a gentle spray of compressed carbon dioxide and sand mist that removes tooth decay while removing as little tooth structure as possible. By controlling the speed and intensity of both the powder and the air, the procedure is virtually painless. And yes, that means no anesthetic! " any thoughts? -katja
