Hi ,

I personally think Mercola's ads are obvious, and perhaps they are to

me simply because I've been reading long enough to know what his

lead-ins are to certain subjects. In fact, he repeats various

information in different forms and for the most part I've been able to

detect when something is a repeat of something I've read before.

Anyway, I have no desire to beat this horse to death, but like I said

before, I hate to see someone who is giving so much be made a villain.

I know for myself how difficult it is to make a go financially of a

website that is mostly information and no matter what you do to earn a

bit of money from it for your time and expenses people don't like it.

Perhaps they don't like feeling guilty that they're receiving so much

without giving any in return? Or perhaps they truly do think website

owners owe it to them?

I really don't know, but just felt it prudent to speak up in defense

of Mercola. No matter what method he uses to help his website pay for

itself, someone won't like it, or will use that as a reason to reject

his info. It's truly their loss, but it's too bad they spread their

dislike to others who may have had no problem with it otherwise.

I think most people really don't know all that a website owner puts

into a website time-wise, money-wise, etc.

You or someone else pointed to the link earlier and I checked it out. It has

more information than I've seen elsewhere on his site.

And I did find out that his eating plan is not for me. There is no way I

could eat four pounds of veggies a day!

Thanks for your help.

This is quite unjustified, I think. If you click on the link for his

Complete Nutrition Plan and work though those pages you'll see what his plan

is all about.

His newest book is mostly a cookbook with a quick run down of his program.

But I learned all I needed to know about his program from the web site.

I'm also extremely disappointed as of late with Mercola. I think the latest

book he was touting says it all, something along the lines of how to get

rich. I don't begrudge a man the right to make a living, but it's come down

to brow beating. Too bad bc for a few years i liked his site as a source of

new health info. Now the marketing is making me crazy.
