Guest guest
Good morning everyone! Okay, my question of the week. I am currently attempting a stab at the warrior diet, as it really seems to fit me well. My diet goals are to improve my health issues, which are mostly in the Fibromyalgia category. The basic ideas at this point on Fibro are that the body stores toxins and such in the muscle tissue instead of processing them out like normal folks....also some possibilities are that I cannot digest nutrients correctly from food. This theory fits well with my problems, as if I get a deep massage, accupuncture, or change my diet for the better I start feeling pretty icky for a couple week or more afterwards. My rashes flare, which the theory on those is also detox side effect. So, all the background in place.....here is the deal. I went on the WD beginning of december, and I think I was detoxing big time after about a week. 3 weeks into the diet, I got REALLY sick with the flu, and ended up having trouble sticking to WD until after I was 95% better. I went back on the WD in full about 3 weeks ago, and I am back in the detox stage again (if that is for sure what it is). This weekend I picked up a cold. Sigh. I heard someone else mention getting sick while on the WD as well in the beginning. My diet is not completely NT yet, I am still working on incorporating more natural items slowly. But, all that said, I usually don't get sick this often and am usually the one who avoids colds even if everyone around me has one (SAD diet or not). During detox, am I really open to picking up things? Is my immune system down right now? Is there anything I can do to boost it? I am taking CLO, digestive enzymes, whey, and cultured milk products on a daily basis. Anything else?? Thanks!!! _________________________________________________________________ Check out the new MSN 9 Dial-up — fast & reliable Internet access with prime features! http://join.msn.com/?pgmarket=en-us & page=dialup/home & ST=
