What kind of containers do you use for storing your broth in the freezer? I

made chicken broth for the first time and put it in small freezer bags, 2

cups each. I don't like using plastic because of the leach factor......but

is this the best way or are there other recommendations with glass, etc? Do

you wrap it in foil and saran wrap or how do you get it airtight so no

freezer burn?

THanks

Hi Nanette,

I use mason jars with white plastic lids. I think it's fairly

airtight, but the two-piece lids are probably even more airtight. I

use mason jars for almost *everything*!

i use ball jars (glass). just be sure not to fill it to the top because it

will expand, and if there's not enough expansion room, will crack the jar.
