Guest guest
Hi Everyone, My husband and I may soon be pushed out of the health insurance company we have been using since he retired. It is becoming too expensive for us to buy. If it goes up any more, which is inevitable, we will quit buying it.I'm sure this is a common problem for many seniors. I am just beginning to explore our options. I live in Oregon and was wondering if any of you have suggestions for reasonable cost coverage health insurance which might cover some alternative care and drugs. My dh takes many drugs(syndrom X). Now if I could just convince him to eat the NT way....I'm trying! I would like to have some coverage beyond Medicare, enough to go to a doctor of my choice, and to cover some cost of any drugs I may need in the future. Hopefully I will never need any drugs. I'm staying with the NT way of eating for the rest of my life and I am counting on drugs not being necessary, still one must be realistic when choosing health insurance and faacing the later years of life. Most of you will someday reach the point we are at and have to make similar decisions. I hope the medical insurance mess is straighened out a lot when your time comes to decide what to do. Mercola and others are making a huge effort in this direction. Is this too off topic? If so, just skip it and move on. TIA, Sheila
