Huh.>>> My fam has a big salsa cook off every year, I think this year will be the 12th or 13th season...so I always grew up with tons of salsa in the house. The most we made was I think 800 jars at one time (for about 10 families). Most of the ingredients come from the local farmers markets, including roasted green chillies. Just about anything with eggs we put salsa on.....egg/sausage/grits casserole, quiche, scrambled eggs and cheese, omelets, everything.
