I heard on radio 4 today that Nestle have teamed up with L'Oreal to make a

range of " nutritional " supplements to directly affect " beauty " . These are

called cosmeceuticals.

This fills in that big niche in the market that I know you've all been

concerned over, somewhere between your Anti-Wrinkle Cream with Active

MicroHippoZomes and your and your MultiVitamin with Added Fibre.

Beauty foods and drinks are currently doing well in Japan and set to hit

Europe soon. Some are specific, eg to strengthen your nails, and some confer

" multiple benefits " , eg skin, hair and nails.

Ingredients include collagen, ceramide and elastin.

I can't wait. Not only will a pill make me healthy, but beautiful too.

yours in anticipation,

Helen

ps I noticed Guerlain have developed " Happylogy " to release endorphins

within the skin. Also, in-cosmetics.com says " Latest research indicates

that cosmetic companies are looking at how to introduce steroids and

hormones into lip balms which used over time could help to improve body

mass, nail and hair growth. "
