Guest guest Posted February 15, 2004 Report Share Posted February 15, 2004 so - after the poop thread and lots of research, i've decided to give it a try with the liver flush. it's 3pm, so i'm as far as eating a non-fat breakfast and lunch and stop eating at 2pm. i've mixed the epsom salt-water-grapefruit juce concoction but i don't have to drink any till 6pm. so far, i'm *astonished* at how unenjoyable a non-fat meal has been! just a year ago, my idea of a perfectly good meal was a bowl of fruit covered in whipped cream (from a can - ew!), a coupla slices of toast with butter, and a big ole' glass of 2% milk. since i don't eat bread anymore and only a half piece of fruit or so a day, i thought this would be super enjoyable. i had toast with peach jam, an apple, and a pear for breakfast (and tea) and a pear, a banana, a kiwi, some lacto-kraut, and some olive foccacia for lunch. and man. it just *failed* to satisfy! so if nothing else, i've learned that my old diet was crap and NT is delish! i'll keep ya'll posted if you're interested... -katja Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
