Guest guest
Just wondering where to get the best qual cod liver in Australia? I got some the other day from company called Melrose and it is very light in colour ( and to my surprise hardly tastes like fish at all imho ) And I read the darker colour bottom of the barrel stuff is higher vitamin

I don't think we have much choice here. At least it is tested for mercury etc and they say comes from deep sea Norway or some story like that. Tastes pretty fishy to me! though it is clear and not dark. - Filippa
Guest guest
Hi filippa, Thanks for reply. Yes it seems to be the best brand we have available. I keep reading stories if you give it to you kids all kinds of things to mask the taste. To me ( probably lucky ) It does not seem strong. Though I pretty much just do 1 table spoon and not much probably touches the tongue eheh _____ From: Filippa [mailto:filippa91@...] Sent: Tuesday, 17 February 2004 8:05 PM Subject: Re: best COd Liver In Australia? >Just wondering where to get the best qual cod liver in Australia? >I got some the other day from company called Melrose and it is very light in >colour ( and to my surprise hardly tastes like fish at all imho ) , I take Melrose as well. My husband can't stand it and will only take it if I make a fresh fruit/veggie juice to go with it. He takes a sip of juice, takes the CLO and washes down with more juice. And he's from a fish-eating culture. I can take it straight though I don't like it. Filippa
