Guest guest
How old is your baby. I think its best if your baby is breastfed to wait to start other foods until the baby shows all the signs before feeding. My daughter was not ready for food til 8 months. SHe is two and a half now and will only eat eggs raw. Early introduction of solids can lead to allergy problems. Most children under 6 mos do not have a fully developed gut. Starting solids early is one of the easiest ways to start a lifetime of gut problems. Amy Waters Raw egg yolks for babies Sally Recomends Raw egg yolks as one of the best starter foods for children over four months. I'm still a little squimish about the thought of raw eggs, especially for my baby. Does anyone have any thing to say about this. We have started to feed him kefir. How would you serve the egg yolks? I've also heard of children becoming allergic to eggs when fed this young. Is this more because of the egg white, which is hard to digest? Guest guest
Yes! Don't I know it. Especially cereals....my mom started me on cereal at only a few weeks of age and I am still trying to recover from the damage. Very valuable advice Amy . Guest guest
Hello, I just wanted to say that we started feeding our baby around 4-5 months with raw egg yolk. We just separate an egg into a bowl and feed the yolk to her with a spoon. I have heard something somewhere ;)that children become allergic to eggs because of being vaccinated. I believe that the vaccine manufacturers use some part of a chicken egg in some of the vaccines. I heard that having this injected directly into the blood stream could definitely cause allergies to egg. I will have to try to look this up and see if I can find where I read this. It has been a while since I have done vaccination reading.
