Guest guest
You can have part time school with home education at secondary school Sharon, we had it for . No other advice for you as it didn't work out for us, but we just told the LEA and that was that, it went in his statement. Vicky
Guest guest
The right to this arrangement (known as 'flexi-schooling') has fairly recently been enshrined in law. The law relating to flexi-schooling can be found at: http://www.home-education.org.uk/articles-flexi-school.htm There is also a Forum for flexi-schoolers which might be useful: http://www.parentscentre.gov.uk/forum/messageview.cfm? catid=134 & threadid=21251 but the site is down at the mo. Guest guest
Thanks Vicky, This was my original post I sent Friday,it's been late coming through. Our recent discussions have been a great help to me.I'm going to steer away form this for now and see if we and the school can support Katy better. Guest guest
-Thank you Zoe, After recent discussions I'm going to work on Katy being appropriately supported in school. If this dosen't work out I'll look into the flexi schooling. She does enjoy being with other children.
