Guest guest
There is a lot of validity in what you say , but speaking as one individual who has been gassy since childhood for what reason is unknown. At first i was told it was the excess carbs in my diet. Now I have very few carbs-(at least none of the bad ones, bread, pastries, etc) still gassy. Others have offered other reasons, none of them seem to work in my case. Yes when I first started KT I noticed a bit of excess gas, didn't really pay that much attention to it. I drink it whenever the mood strikes, with or without a meal- doesn't really seem to make that much difference in my case. In the rare instances when I was not excessively gassy - it seems them I become constipated and have to take herbs to clear the blockage- this of course brings the gas right back. LOL Guess its a good thing I live alone. huggs zoe Friday, December 1, 2006, 4:57:54 PM, you wrote: >thanks to all that replied. my " mould definetly wasn't as obvious in >colour as the photo and only one patch. the stringy yeasty bits didn't >concern me only the growing white bit which i killed with the vinegar. >I will post as to my success or failure in a few days. no one has >answered my question about farting? my wife is also noticed this as >well? its only a problem for me when its her and visa versa!lol has >this been a normal start up side affect for some? does it mean perhaps >that it is doing good things to our bowel flora? >regards >andy Some people say it's a normal part of KT drinking. I tend to feel that if a lot of gas if being formed that it is something to investigate. Someone else here has maintained that if you have gastric upset after drinking KT, it is a sign that you need help with digestion and that you should drink it with food only for a few weeks. This jibes with everything I already knew so I embrace this view, since many many people need help with digestion and don't realize it, and a lot of people seem to have been helped by this advice. So I would say, try drinking only with food and see if that helps. A certain amount may be " normal " with drinking KT but I don't experience it much. Then again, humans vary in their biology a lot, far more, science now knows, than was ever imagined, so for some people the gas may just be part of the whole thing regardless. The gas is definitely a sign that the KT is " working " , it's just that the argument goes: The symptom shows that the KT would be doing more good being allowed to work on food/digestion/assimilation of nutrients before doing the detox work that it does when food is not ingested simultaneously. --V ~~~ There is no way to peace; peace is the way ~~~~ --A.J.
