Some comments on the article itself:

I have not seen the report, and unless you have, this should not be

taken as evidence that any of the scenarios presented will come to pass.

I very strongly suspect that this is just the Pentagon trying to cover

all the bases. If anyone wants to make a wager with me regarding the

habitability of the Netherlands in 2008, let me know.

Also, they billed the Union of Concerned Scientists as a non-partisan

group. While this may technically be true in that they are not strictly

affiliated with any political party, it's misleading. The UCS is a

far-left group (which should be obvious from the name) that was formed

for the purpose of protesting the Vietnam war.

Republicans.

Oh, wait...they've been doing that for the last forty years!

BTW, don't forget the " POLITICS " tag when making such blatantly
