Pineapple is the ONE fruit I'm iffy on ... because I heard a story

that when it ferments it can be harmful. I have no idea if this

is true or not. Pineapple has a mess of enzymes ... to the point

that it will erase your fingerprints (which happens to folk in

pineapple canning places).

No kidding. All ive heard so far is it has a very beneficial enzyme for

digestion.

But I see nothing good about a fruit that erases fingerprints of pplz hands

Bromelain is the enzyme in pineapple, it is a strong protein digesting enzyme.

Papaya contains a better all around enzyme.

It operates over a larger pH range and is gentler than bromelain.

Papaya enzyme also helps to digest fats and sugars as well.

I have to be careful with raw pineapple.

If I eat very much my lips will start to burn from the enzymes. : -)
