Sorry it is a paper publication and I don't have a scanner. Basically

Edelson points out that it is discrimination not to treat people with

ASD for gastro issues, chelation etc. especially when there are

mainstream treatments available. He points out Fitzpatrick's selective

reporting on the death of Tariq Nadama and points to

www.autismresearchsummaries.com for evidence on biomedical approaches.

Shattock points out that American Academy of Paediatricians and

Pediatric Gastroenterologists are collaborating with Autism Soc of

America and ARI. The National Framework for Autism and Prof Rutter at

NAS conference want these treatments taken into account and further

research wanted by all. LAst paragraph reads

" If you agree with Sir Rutter, the AAP, some members of NAS

and ASA and AAPG, and innumerable parents and people with autism

throughout the world, perhaps you should leave this book on the shelf.

If you accept 's scientifically unsupported decisions that such

approaches are useless and dangerous, I commend you this book. "

If I have left any salient points out I apologise to all.
