Guest guest
Dear all, I'm a Brit, off to spend a week or so (in two halves) in San Francisco :-). Can anyone suggest NTish places to eat/buy food there? I wanted to pick up some Carlson's CLO whilst I'm there - is this widely available in the US? And (whilst I'm at it) any recommendations for cheap but wholesome places to stay - less than $60 and safe to walk back to at night? Thanks, Kate

I haven't seen it in Whole Foods (not that I've looked for it there), but the independent HFS's seem to carry almost nothing else. MFJ There are no stupid questions, but there are plenty of silly ones.
Guest guest
Hi Kate, There is a health food store in San Francisco called Rainbow Grocery and I am 99% sure they carry Carlson's CLO. I know they carry Carlson's products (I've bought their salmon oil capsules) and I know they carry CLO. They are located on the corner of Folsom & 13th Street in the SOMA district (South of Market). I am not sure of places to stay. I know there are several hostels and I think as long as you avoid the Tenderloin area and also 6th Street (at night) you should be fine. -Jo San Francisco At 08:24 PM 3/2/04 -0000, you wrote: >Dear all, > >I'm a Brit, off to spend a week or so (in two halves) in San >Francisco :-).
