Guest guest
Hi Joy, To get off the sugar, is the coconut oil all you did ? I am a sugar junkie at work , it's weird but I seldom have sweets on my days off and definatly not in the obscene amount I have at work and once I start it's all over . Any other tips you may have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Suki > > I read in Sweet Deception (Mercola book) that if you take the amount of sugar used in the United States and divide that by population, you'll get 156 pounds of sugar per person per year. > > Now, we have to take into account diabetics who follow a strct regimen and others who don't care for sweet stuff- plus toddler sized kids who don't eat that much, and you're looking at some American wolfing down over 200 pounds of sugar- maybe more. > > At first, I was thinking I did not consume very much sugar because I really don't eat sugar, but my hubby reminded me of my Booch! That does take a bit- so I'm probably consuming and using around 20-30 pounds per year by my estimation. > > I only got off sugar (except KT) since May, and I was able to overcome the cravings and all by using coconut oil in my coffee in the AM. > > > Joy > > > > >
