Someone posted years ago (Mandi?) clear honey infused with garlic and

onions left overnight and then dispensed on spoon - J was ok on this

until decided didn't like garlicky honey.

- Sponging with tepid water if too hot

- Steam is a good antifungal and antiviral

Run the shower, make bathroom really steamy and warm and put tea tree

or olbas oil in hand basin with very hot water - careful not to crack

basin - sit in warm bath, don't allow to catch chill.

I'm warding off my own chest infection - some of the best things but

this is for adult, depends on child and tolerances:

- CP1 probio of VSL3 if ok on this - also can't give with antibios

- D3,

- vit C - Holford of Optimum Nutrition fame reckons 2 g per

day min (but that's adult, depends if he tolerates)

- Monolaurin - boosts immunity

- Siberian Ginseng - we often give to J if we suspect he has a cold

- virgin organic coconut oil - contains monolaurin and is only natural

source apart from breast milk - all in Natasha McBride

- Leek and potato soup - add stock from organic chicken bones

- Lots of liquids, preferably hot - as long as he drinks - even if it

means ice cubes/organic not ideal but better than dehydration

That's about the sum total of my ideas
