Guest guest
Hi, I’m new to this list and would like some advice on NDF. My nine year old daughter with autism has recently started biomed. My practitioner has prescribed NDF for her. She has been taken it for about 4 weeks. The NDF contains cilantro and chorella. I have seen Mandi’s post strongly recommending against cilantro and chorella for chelation/detox protocols. I have stopped giving NDF to my daughter. I would really appreciate others views. I can only recall one kid having success this with this, it was a while coming but his mum is on this list. I have read of several with regressions. Seems a strange thing to be prescribing if you are new to biomed - is your practitioner familiar with ASD kids? I have on going 'debates' with one DAN! nutritionist about this product Mandi x

Guest guest
What is NDF? More detail about the debates please. Rows are very illuminating >>>Natural Detox Factors, read company site here http://www.bioraynaturaldetox.com/products.cfm We don't row we just have a difference of opinion on what the labs mean. He thinks Mercury coming out on a hair test means it works, I think it means its mobilising but not excreting, which has always been my worry with chorella. When we were doing 3 on 11 off DMSA/ALA Cutler protocol I tested BLOOD for Lead on day 3 of a round and there was zero, nada, not a speck. I have also tested BLOOD on day 10, ie the day before a round (having been chelating regularly 3/11) and had Lead showing off the page. During periods on constant chelation, we did mostly 3/11, I took hair tests which showed no Hg and little Lead (waaay less than baseline which was Lead +++++). We only did a few urine and fecal tests but both showed loads of Lead coming out among other things and we saw Hg on the fecal toxics. So I believe that him seeing Hg going up means its circulating, redistributing, doing its thang because its been mobilised and not effectively excreted via urine or stool. I might mail Quigg at DDI about it see what he has to say. But in the meantime my debate partner is beginning to use the Cutler protocol (WINK!) Guest guest
We use NDF+. We haven't done testing or anything like that. All I can tell you is that using it alongside NCD, Cell Food and very importantly in my opinion, Liver Life as per the Brainchild protocol, we have seen good results. I think that it is a slower detox system than using DMSA etc but the side effects seem to be less. We have had no major yeast problems and we just upped the dose as he was ready. I also think that as with everything else we do, its up the individual to do some research and then go with what feels most comfortable and what fits into your life minimising the stress levels wherever possible.
