Guest guest
******* With a coop farm, the farmer has his/her money in advance, and that is built-in price stability! If there is a bumper crop of carrots, I presume people will eat more carrots that year. ******* We belonged to an organic CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) a few years ago. What a great deal! We got such quality, quantity and variety of produce. It was so fun to try new foods I had never tried before like fennel and garlic greens. Such cooperation encourages more variety, imo. We will be planting here at the end of the month and grow enough at home to sustain us (well almost) 2/3 of the year. But if I was in the city . . . Oh hey, are you familiar with the Organic Wine Company? If you like great wines at a reasonable price, make friends with Veronique and Michel! I am getting these products into the Texas markets presently, but they ship direct too. http://www.theorganicwinecompany.com/ Deanna
