Sorry not quite numeracy but time and sequence are soooo important that starting using a calendar early and counting days forward and back and connecting this to dates and times of day etc.An advent calendar might be a good place to start. catherine

setting table, we need 3 cups, 3 spoons, 3 plates etc.

counting snacks, 2 crackers, 10 raisons, 1 drink

counting toys, cars, trucks etc
