Guest guest
So good to hear your better Marcia. I was always told the same about drinking lots of water, especially with the meds we take. It helps flush the system, I think. I was always told it helped when I had butterflies in my heart, lol. I don't know exactly what they call that. Anyway, I am very glad to hear they didn't find a serious complication that caused the episode and we sure hope it does not happen again. Guest guest
Dear Tricia, I recently just switched to drinking tons of water. I was very addicted to soda, drinking sometimes over a six pack a day. With all the weight from the meds and especially the prednisone, I wanted to stop drinking soda and switch to water because of the sugar calories. I have been drinking water for about 8 weeks now, a lot sometimes with lemon to make it easier, anyway.....I sweat horrible and I mean horrible... sometimes I don't take my temp anymore because I am not sure if it is the drenching sweats or fevers, because my fevers are considered another persons normal temp. We had a huge discussion on this last week, but I drink water as soon as I sweat. My mouth gets very dry and I feel like I am gasping for air at times. I tend to fever in the morning and at night, and the water tends to cool me down and I think sometimes...yes...keep my fever down. A very good point Marcia. So yes, I would tend to agree with you on that, but at other times, it's so hard to figure out what is going on with me either......I am sorry that this is so confusing. It's just that the sweats are horrible, and lately they are really bad, and I know that the warm weather is coming, so I am not looking forward to sweating more. I hope that this wasn't too confusing. Be well friend, and it's so nice to hear from you and know that you are doing much better. We were very worried about you Marcia. Keep us updated. Guest guest
Hi Marcia, Am happy to hear you are doing so well, and no more " episodes of unconsiousness! " I agree about the water part. When I was in the hospital, so sick..and running those outrageous fevers, I would be continually asking for water pitcher refills. The nurses were asking if I was dumping it out somewhere...nope..I drank and drank because I just felt that was what my body needed. I think there are times when we definately do need more water! Take care, Tricia Water > Hi everyone - > > Last month I posted about my unusual experience where I became unconscious > for about 6 hours.
