Guest guest
My best guess is L Glutamine, isn't it an excitotoxin? Fantastic supplement for the gut, transformed 's BM's etc, after a while he was absolutely raging on it, think he had it long enough to move things a long but could go no further because of these meltdowns. We were using different supplements to you so I would strongly suspect the L-Glutamine. Vicky

Guest guest
Just to update- it's still going on a full week in, a mega meltdown every day, no particular trigger, different times of day, different places, but always after school. Epsom baths back on the last two nights and no improvement. Any ideas? Guest guest
fwiw I would stop glutamine. Also ask maybe he is having some new foods at school, or find out if they’ve had new lights, carpets, wall paints etc lately?? natasa Just to update- it's still going on a full week in, a mega meltdown every day, no particular trigger, different times of day, different places, but always after school. Guest guest
I was going to say the say. Glutamine is a big 'no no' according to Yasko. DAN! doctors use it though. Also you may get something positive out of this - if he is reacting this badly to the glutamine then he may do very well on GABA. Try to borrow Yasko's book which I've forgotten the title of but something to do with 'autism puzzle' from the TA library. The bit about glutamine is right near the beginning. hope that helps, Sara Neno/Natasa wrote: > > > fwiw I would stop glutamine. Guest guest
I'm certainly no expert, but if you are using GSE for maintenance and when yeast is no longer present it is like using an anti-biotic, a scorched earth policy I often liken it to, it is very useful but can lead to a bacterial overgrowth if overused, this may or not be the situation in your case but a possibility. Guest guest
Thanks Guys, I'll drop the glutamine, I started it again as he was recommended it by a doc here to increase his low muscle tone and I felt the tone was slipping again. The GSE is a maintenance for yeast and any kind of fruit or juice or sugar sees a yeast flare up if he's not taking it. I keep the sugars to a bare minimum of course . I might try dropping it to one drop see if that keeps it in check.
