Guest guest
Wow Rhea, that is an amazing story about your son. How old is he? My daughter is 3 and i'm paying more attention to diet and personality. We are only recently getting the sugar monster tamed and i plan to ease her into a gluten-free diet gradually without her knowing. I will keep a diary like you suggested. Unfortunately we live in cohousing where she eats all manners of crap at other people's houses, but if i see a big enough change for the better i may make a public announcement about it. Thanks for the tip on Dangerous Grains too. Elaine > We've just recently gone gluten free. I was curious after all of Heidi's > info given on here and purchased Dangerous Grains. Guest guest
Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and tips on going gluten-free. I tried right before Christmas, was understandably thwarted, and am going to go for it again starting Monday. My last attempt made me aware of how much of it is out there, but it has also given me time to reflect on my daily diet and where i can make some changes. I can't wait to read Dangerous Grains and to see how this will affect my daughter. The only fly in the ointment is my husband... Maybe there will be some choice passages in the book i can read to him. Elaine
Guest guest
Elaine, My son is seven. I think you'll find lots of stuff to share with your husband in Dangerous Grains. Which cohousing group are you with? (I'm on the cohousing listserv but not cohousing and probably won't be - only one group in Alaska and they have very different goals than us.) : ) Rhea > Wow Rhea, that is an amazing story about your son.
