Guest guest
Hello all. I've been lurking for awhile, trying to complete a move, get past the first few months of a pregnancy, other things. But I'd like to jump in now. Yesterday I went to my first chapter meeting of the Price Foundation in andria, VA. I wondered if anyone else on this list went to that meeting or belongs to the Herndon, VA Chapter? I would also like to ask if there are mothers/parents on this list who have been introducing aspects of Nourishing Traditions to their children, especially very small ones. This is something I've been struggling with, as well as cutting back on my ds' (28 mo.) sugar consumption. I am working with a TBM practitioner to help resolve my own and my son's, as I just learned, many allergies. I'm wondering how this came about, although I have some clues, i.e. antibiotics for me and later him, my own on-going yeast problems. All I know is my baby was very healthy the whole first year he was primarily breastfed, then some things started changing and others that were supposed to improved, like sleeping at night and certain behavior, actually got worse on the timeline they were supposed to be better. I'm very excited to learn more about this diet. I have Sally Fallon's book and am trying to implement it, though it's a very big challenge. Hope you are all well. Guest guest
Sorry for the late reply (I just cannot keep up with this list...have to delete most messages unread) but I was at the andria meeting. Guest guest
Just a thought, maybe cut back on those extra cardio sessions at the gym. If those 45 min sessions are in addition to your BFL workouts AND all your daily life cardio then you are madly overboard in the cardio department. That will definitely eat muscle, especially if you're psychologically incapable of increasing your food! If you're working out like Skwigg, you need to eat like Skwigg or you'll lose all your hard earned muscles! Congrats on needing a new wardrobe! I can't wait to be in the same position... well, I AM at the moment, but only because I'm pregnant and unwilling to spend money on clothes I'm only going to wear for 3 months. I have ONE nice looking preggy outfit, LOL, I'm SO hoping winter doesn't kick in suddenly in the next couple of weeks, I don't have a jacket that fits at ALL!
