We use nutritional yeast in our homemade multivitamin powder. I don't know

what torula is but I understand brewers yeast is a by product of beer

making, nutritional yeast is grown on beets and is the one you want. Great

on popcorn.

k

brewer's or nutritional yeast questions

Do any of you use these regularly? Can you think of any reason why not to?

Also what's the difference between torula, brewers and nutritional yeast?

One any better than the other?

Thanks ahead for any help!

Nutritional yeast is an excellent emulsifier for salad dressings, but

it does tend to dominate with its own flavor. So, use only the

minimal amount needed to achieve the desired consistency.

Sally recommends Frontier nutritional yeast in the Shopping Guide

that comes every year with membership to WAP. It is so handy. If your

health food store doesn't carry the Frontier yeast, they might order

it for you. Mine will.
