<When I first met Jerry, he has successfully

organized a group of people in Easton New Jersey

to put a stop to the unnecessary destruction of

historic bridges over the Deleware River by

Pennsylvania state. At that time, as result of

research that he funded as an individual, he was

speaking nationally about the decline in

nutritional content of pasture grass and grocery

products since the first US studies in 1904. He

was also a frequent spokesman on pastured dairy

health at NOFA and related conferences and has

remained a champion of grass fed dairies. He was

a keynote speaker (on government interference in

the food system and what to do about it ) and he

will be a keynote speaker at Sally Fallon's

Weston A. Price conference this fall (on the

relationship between soil health and human

health). He's an inspiring man to listen to,

filled with well documented facts, great humor,

and an appreciation of the potential of the

American system of democratic government.

(Jerry's concept of 'potluck democracy' was the

inspiration for the " Local Food/Local Economy "

speakers series www.gardeningforthefuture.com) He

doesn't speak often in the Mid-Atlantic region. I

highly recommend that you make an effort to

attend his presentation this Wednesday in

Shepherdstown, WV. The regular press release

follows. -Allan Balliett>

Biological Consultant to Speak in Shepherdstown, WV on March 17

About five years ago, biological agriculture

consultant and livestock supplement formulator,

Jerry Brunetti received word that without

aggressive chemotherapy treatment he would be

dead in as little as 6 months from lymphoma. He

chose to not travel that route, and instead has

embarked on his own journey, seeking advice,

treatments, alternative protocols, and hands-on

care from a wide variety of sources. The result

has been depth of understanding of the role of

nutrition in human health that is almost beyond

compare, steady improvement in his own overall

health, and, as of January 2004, a doctor's

examination reveals NO ENLARGED LYMPTH NODES!

He’s still alive, inspite of the advice he'd been

given from the medical establishment.

" We've asked Jerry to expand upon the

remarkable speech on the subject of cancer,

natural treatments, and his own health that he

presented at the 2003 Acres U.S.A.

Eco-Agriculture Conference. His story emphasizes

the value of locally grown foods and will serve

as inspiration and education for anyone who is

touched by degenerative disease, either

themselves or in a friend or loved one,” said

Allan Balliett, Shepherdstown ecological farmer

and organizer of this event.

Jerry Brunetti is currently managing director of

Agri-Dynamics, a 25 year old company engaged in

ecological systems approaches to livestock, crop

and horticultural programs. Agri-Dynamics

produces ecological friendly pesticides and

bio-stimulants; natural feed additives and herbal

nutraceuticals for livestock, equine and pets;

and services including soil, tissue and water

testing with recommendations.

" Jerry Brunetti's approach is not limited to

specific remedies. He constantly emphasizes the

need to understand the similarities in the

biological dynamics of the entire farm - whether

in the rumen of the cow, the rhizosphere in the

soil or the digestion of organic waste, the

microbial life involved should be seen as part of

an integrated, complementary, holistic system.

It is upon this system that true human health is

based,” says Balliett.

Brunetti was also co-founder of Earthworks, a

company engaged since 1991 in instituting

biological practices in the golf course and

landscape industries. He was an animal science

major at North Carolina State University and ran

a cow/calf operation in Ritchie County, WV (near

ville) for two years. He currently serves

on the steering committees of the Eastern PA

Chapter of the Weston A. Price Foundation, the

Lower Mt. Bethel Environmental Advisory Council,

and The Foodshed Alliance of the Ridge Valley.

Jerry is a regular speaker at numerous

sustainable agriculture and health conferences

throughout the USA and Australia. His

intellectual contribution to the grass-fed dairy

movement has been substantial.

There is no charge for this event, but, due to

limited seating, a reservation is necessary.

Contact Allan Balliett at (304) 876-3382 or

yourself.

This talk is part of the Local Food/Local Economy

series of talks presented by Fresh and Local CSA

and Gardening for the Future. Shuman and

Linzey are among future speakers. See

information.
