I can think of a few possibilities: 1. If you eat like that at night too, then you are getting hardly ANY carbs. Which will put you in ketosis, which will make you lose weight. Is there any reason you don't eat, say, some fruit? Or nuts? 2. Stress and lack of sleep will make you hungry, regardless of what you are eating. So will food allergies. Has to do with cortisol/insulin. Getting more or less sunlight changes your appetite too. 3. If you are eating the same as ever, and suddenly losing weight, you may have some malabsorption -- esp. if you have any bowel issues (gas, rumbling, loose stools, IBS symptoms, or sometimes constipation). 4. If you got more exercise over the weekend, maybe you just need more food! How much do you eat in the evening? -- Heidi Jean
Guest guest
Hi heidi, Reason I didn't eat nuts was because didn't have any that I had soaked ect ect. It turns out today however my bag of almonds I bought is almost ready and dried out :-) ( almost but I couldn't help myself as part of my snack this afternoon with a few grapes ) I thought you pretty much avoided carbs during the day ? At night I have a piece of fruit + either sourdough bread or a 400 gram potato with dinner ect for carbs. My stools have been loose for awhile. At least they are sinking though now rather than floating! I eat till im right full at dinner :-) _____ From: Heidi Schuppenhauer [mailto:heidis@...] Sent: Monday, 15 March 2004 3:03 PM Subject: Re: WD and now during day i starting to eat like a horse >Last few days on the WD during the day ive been EXTREMELY ravenous > >After some stretching in the morn upon wake up ill have 3 eggs. > >Then within 2 hours I starving. Guest guest
>I thought you pretty much avoided carbs during the day ? No, just starches. Raw fruits and vegies are fine. >At night I have a piece of fruit + either sourdough bread or a 400 gram >potato with dinner ect for carbs. And what else? Assuming you are a fairly active male, that ISN'T much FOOD! Shoot, I eat more than that and I'm a middle aged not very active female and working on losing weight. I have a grapefruit for breakfast, a salad for lunch. Then for dinner a bowl of broth or more fruit, a BIG steak (12 oz or so) or some other nice amount of meat, some vegies, then something like noodles or popcorn or potato fried in coconut oil. But my hubby eats much, much more than that and he's rather lean. Anyway, you might try figuring out the calorie content of what you eat, then you can figure out how much YOU need. -- Heidi Jean
Guest guest
Yes tomorrow I will calculate weigh of all items I eat. Then will scour the net for a good per gram calculator and add it all up. See what it comes to _____ From: Heidi Schuppenhauer [mailto:heidis@...] Sent: Monday, 15 March 2004 6:16 PM Subject: RE: WD and now during day i starting to eat like a horse >I thought you pretty much avoided carbs during the day ? Raw fruits and vegies are fine. Yeah, but most veggies, except the starchy ones, are low-carb, and fruits should be limited. Chris
