Hi ,

I know everyone gives supps to their children in different ways so this

may not be helpful but if not maybe other people can share. Tom is now

used to Oxypowder but he hated the texture of it at first. I used to mix

it with fruit puree (pear) and play a favourite video/ DVD/ or let him

on the computer while I spoonfed it to him. If he refused it i would

pause the video. He was used to this though from the ABA course he was

doing at the time, but giving rewards for taking it all might help.

Secondly, how old and big is he? When you work out the doseage, next

time you do a clearout you can go straight to that big dose so you're

not clearing out over so many days.

From what you say, his bowel is not clear yet and you may have to give

laxatives too although I feel very nervous saying so but hope more

experienced parents will comment.

if you give lemon juice (or other citrus or vitamin C) with the

oxypowder it makes it more effective.

Good luck
