Guest guest
Hello everyone, My father has Dementia with Lewy Bodies and the Exelon has been a godsend in so many ways, better short term memory, greater attention span, better visual spatial...he no longer refuses to get into the car because he thinks that the door is closed when it isn't, he no longers screams that other cars are crashing into him or that we are going the wrong way, less restlessness Greater awareness of and response to his environment, less apathy etc. but he had to be on it for a few months before there was a real difference. However we have not solved the mood, worry, anxiety, agitation, and hallucination problems and I'm wondering if the 50mg of Seroquel he is on twice a day (one in am and one in pm) is too low. What has been the experience of others in this group in terms of what doeses of Seroquel worked and what doesages have not worked? I'm wondering if the reason Mai Liss husband was successfull with only 75-100 is because it was given all at once at night when most of the problems occured. In my father's case I think he may need it both morning and night so it is divided up and thus less potent when it is given. Thank you everyone for relating your experiences.
