I just have to tell you all how excited I am. I have been reading Bruce

Fife's book about Coconut Oil and although I only use organic oil I didnt

realize they couldnt be heated. So this morning I was prepared to throw

away all my oils (except my olive oil which is refrigerated and is in a tin

container- I will use it for salad dressing occasionally) and my organic

shortening. I knew the Sprectrum Organic Shortening said it was

non-hydrogentated but I figured it couldnt be heated. Come to find out, the

shortening is made exclusively with Palm Oil... yeah!! I only use it for

pie crusts but I am so excited that I can still use it!!

Amy, wife to my dear husband Steve, home schooling Mom to 16 wonderful

blessings from God (2 homegrown, 14 adopted)and praying for more!!
