KT brewed with Linden tea

Has anyone here experimented with Linden tea? My grandmother would

give us Linden tea to treat colds. It would induce a small light fever

and we'd always feel better within a day or two.

I'm thinking of starting a fresh KT batch with Linden and white tea.

Which leads me to the next question.

Can you heat and drink KT like hot tea w/o killing any benefitial

components of the brew?
