Guest guest
Approaching this from a TCM perspective - heavy periods (menorrhagia) can stem from heat in the blood. Naturally the blood is cooled on a raw diet. Elainie ************** Thanks Elainie. Perhaps raw eating should be a seasonal thing? My problem was mainly pain, heavy was only occasional, maybe my case being more dysmenorrhea? Many women on all raw foods cease menstruating altogether (amenorrhea), which is not a good thing. Now, Helga brought up gluten intolerance and menstruation on the *other* list. I will leave it to her to add the connection here if she so desires (no pressure dear ;-) Deanna
