Guest guest
wonder if the liver prob translates into the jumping, running on the spot prob my boy has. He seems compelled to be in constant movement, like he is trying to block something out, or rather responding to an over active something or other. >>>Sam is very active, though not what I would call hyperactive but if he's awake he is moving. Just had HANDLE assessment, says neurodevelopmentally is he stressed, movement is soothing him. We have exercises to get started on after xmas when I have practised on me, will let you know how we get on Mandi x
Guest guest
It's something I have always wondered about. I hope parents can read these pages and let me know if the description of the 'liver flip' is similar to what they are seeing in chidren with 'hand flapping'. bbrowne123 schrieb: > > wow, what a super sleuth, this is really really interesting, my boy > has never flapped but seen many kids who do. > > > > > > > > > > > > I just read about this rather interesting connection. Guest guest
Hi Mandi, oh yes please, would like to know!! My boy stomps his feet when he walks or kicks them out which looks like a stasi goose step. so much is going on inside them >>Sam only stomps around if he is angry and has been known to stamp on the spot - I love it when he does 'normal' things! is convinced Sam also said HOME during the assessment, got 3 hours of DVD to go through to see if I can hear it too. Also says an approximation of I AM when he said are you ready to go home.....I was shattered after 3.5 hour drive on awful roads, I could hardly string 2 words together, exciting if Sam managed it eh? Guest guest
She only tolerates a small amount of MAG sulph.I don't know if it's the sulphate or the mag that she can't handle. She has similar symptoms with probiotics ,B6, Magnesium and yoghurt.I wondered if her motility is just so sluggish that ammonia just builds up,from fermentation in her gut.She can't tolerate enzymes. >>Can she cope with activated charcoal? That and liquid Zeolites should soak up ammonia Mandi x

Guest guest
-whenever I have given Katy lactic acid probiotics she has I think raised ammonia. Shown as high blood urea and liver enzymes and a low potassium.I think for her it is a faulty tryptophan metabolism ,she can't handle the amines produced and they cause high ammonia. She also had a very severe asthma attack after 1 mg of melatonin and this also happens if she has too many probiotics. Guest guest
Sharon, You can get the amines down with sulphate (magnesium sulphate) theoretically. SO is the L. acidopholous causing the ammonia, do you think?? Sharon schrieb: > > -whenever I have given Katy lactic acid probiotics she has I think > raised ammonia. Guest guest
-She only tolerates a small amount of MAG sulph.I don't know if it's the sulphate or the mag that she can't handle. She has similar symptoms with probiotics ,B6, Magnesium and yoghurt.I wondered if her motility is just so sluggish that ammonia just builds up,from fermentation in her gut.She can't tolerate enzymes. I have read that trypophan metabolism problems are associated with Asthma and atopic disease, the reaction she had to the melatonin was very sudden and very severe, she's also had similar although not as severe a reaction to probiotics and yoghurt,Magnesium and B6 have also been a problem.During these occassions she has had hand shaking and head jerking. I've read your advise about adrenal support and we are introducing the adrenal cortex,I also have inositol and choline to start.I'm a bit worried about giving her things that raise serotonin in the gut.Is inositol likely to do this or does it just manage serotonin better ?
